Horizon Communications Teams with Longtime Partner Siklu to Deliver Wireless Gigabits to Banking, Insurance and other Businesses in Bermuda

Bermuda has a vibrant business community and a rich heritage in banking and insurance and now these companies throughout the capital of Hamilton have access to Gigabit-speed wireless broadband featuring the highest levels of security, from Horizon Communications. Horizon began operations with the goal to be the first full-scale WISP on the island and gained regulatory approval in 2021 to offer 4G mobile and 5G fixed broadband services and has been rapidly expanding ever since.

In October 2021 Horizon initiated a new network based on Terragraph-certified Siklu MultiHaul™ TG N366 nodes and companion MultiHaul™ TG TU (terminal units) have been deployed by Horizon Communications of Hamilton, Bermuda. This new Siklu solution has enabled Horizon to provide Gigabit-speed, fixed wireless broadband services to businesses throughout the island and the company also has begun to sign up residential customers, beginning in Hamilton and expanding on a parish-by-parish basis.
